Seeing a player-made piece become a real board Token is the kind of Monopoly GO moment that feels more personal than finishing another event track. The Halloween Community Token Design Contest gives Tycoons that shot, and it arrives at a time when many players are already balancing dice, events, and Monopoly Go Stickers progress. This one is not about burning resources for a leaderboard; it is about submitting an original spooky Token concept that could return in a future Season as an official permanent reward.

A short submission window, so prepare before July 20

Entries open on July 20, 2026, and close on July 28 at 4 PM UTC. To enter, join the official Monopoly GO Discord, head to the #Spooky-Community-Workshop channel, and post your concept with your in-game Tycoon name. A clean image matters more than a heavily decorated presentation. If your Token has a tiny face, dangling charm, or unusual outline, make sure it can still be understood at a glance. Players often overwork the sketch and forget that Tokens are viewed at a small scale while moving around the board.

Design for the board, not just the drawing

The strongest concepts should feel Halloween-themed while staying readable inside the normal Token dome and on its circular base. A bold silhouette usually has a better chance than a design packed with thin limbs, little text, or background effects. Think of something players could recognize from across the board: a round ghost with a distinct hat, a cursed lantern with a clear shape, or a compact monster with one memorable feature. Front and back views are optional, but they help when the reverse side changes the idea. Hand-drawn art, digital work, paint, and mixed media are all acceptable, so don't assume polished software matters more than a clever concept.

Keep the entry fully your own and avoid outside logos, famous characters, or borrowed visual identities. Monopoly GO characters such as Mr. M, Scottie, and Ben Basu the Banker can appear, provided their key proportions and appearance remain intact. Halloween costumes can make those familiar faces more fun, but the costume should support the character rather than hide who it is. The contest team will choose 20 finalists based on creativity, originality, and the seasonal mood, then community voting runs from July 31 through August 4, ending at 4 PM UTC.

Finalists receive 400 Dice Rolls and a 4-Star Sticker Pack, while the two Grand Winners receive 1,000 Dice Rolls, a 4-Star Sticker Pack, and a Swap Pack. More importantly, both winning designs will become official Tokens in a future Season. Don't treat the contest like a dice grind: take one strong idea, check its silhouette, and post it before the deadline.
