GTA Online Halloween 2025 Update Introduces New Submerged Slasher Mode

Rockstar Games has added a tense and exciting new spin to GTA Online's Halloween 2025 lineup with the Submerged Slasher Mode, a fresh version of the classic Slasher Adversary Mode. This time, the action takes place deep below the surface inside the Ramius submarine, turning the familiar cat-and-mouse gameplay into a claustrophobic fight for survival GTA 5 Modded Accounts. The pitch-black corridors and narrow passages of the submarine create an atmosphere of constant unease, forcing players to rely on their flashlights, instincts, and nerves to stay alive.

The Ramius submarine, known from the Doomsday Heist DLC, is modeled after real-life nuclear submarines and offers a setting unlike anything seen in previous Slasher maps. Its multi-level structure, limited lighting, and tight spaces make every step a potential risk. Players can hear footsteps echoing through the metal halls, see flashes of light in the distance, and feel the growing pressure as the hunt intensifies. The entire match feels like a scene from a psychological thriller, filled with anticipation and sudden bursts of panic.

In this mode, one player starts as the Slasher, armed with a shotgun and a flashlight, while everyone else—the Hunted—must survive with only flashlights of their own. The first few minutes are a nerve-racking game of evasion and hiding as the Slasher prowls the submarine. After three minutes, the power dynamic flips: the Hunted gain shotguns, and the Slasher becomes the prey. The sudden shift transforms the match from a slow, suspenseful chase into a frantic fight for dominance in the dark.

Every encounter is close-range, and quick reflexes are crucial. The limited visibility means players often hear danger before they see it, and split-second decisions can determine survival. The environment itself heightens the fear—tight corners, narrow ladders, and flickering lights make each round unpredictable. It's a simple concept, but the submarine's design makes it feel entirely new, blending horror and action in a way that fits perfectly with GTA Online's Halloween spirit.

The Submerged Slasher Mode is available from October 16 to October 22, 2025, and rewards players with double GTA$ and RP during the event. It can be accessed from the Adversary Modes playlist in GTA Online's Featured Series for that week.
