If you have been jumping into Snap and Salvage runs in Arc Raiders, you will know they can be a mix of pure fun and pure chaos. The job sounds straightforward – break down a chunk of wrecked ARC tech and guard a drone while it scoops up the scraps – but it gets messy fast when the bots start swarming. You will want to be ready before you drop in. Pick a loadout that can chew through groups, because you will be holding your ground against waves from all angles. An LMG or solid assault rifle does the trick, but your gadgets are the real lifesavers. I have had countless runs saved by a Stasis Grenade freezing a crowd just long enough for everyone to reload or focus fire. A Shield Dome is another great choice for keeping a safe bubble around the drone. Just make sure you coordinate with your squad so you are not all packing the same gear. If you are looking to gear up, check out ARC Raiders Items before heading in.
Once you hit the ground, your first move is to locate the salvage site. These wrecks are huge, smoking, and impossible to miss. One player needs to run in and attach the Snapper tool to start breaking the chassis apart. That is the moment every ARC unit nearby gets the memo, so expect company immediately. When the Snapper finishes, call in the Salvage Drone. The drone is slow, loud, and draws fire like nothing else. From here, your main goal is simple – keep it alive until it is done collecting.
Enemies will come from every direction, so you cannot just tunnel vision on one side. Split the team’s focus and cover different approach lanes. Call out heavy units like Golems or Wardens the second you spot them – they will tear through the drone’s health in seconds if left unchecked. The smaller grunts can be annoying, but do not let them distract you from the big threats. Use whatever cover the wreckage offers, and avoid standing out in the open where you are an easy target.
Positioning matters a lot. Stay close enough to the drone to react fast if something slips through, but not so close that you all get caught in a single blast from an enemy heavy. Keep an eye on the drone’s health bar, and be ready to rotate to help a teammate if their lane gets overwhelmed. Communication is key – a quick shout can save the whole run. Once the drone fills up and lifts off, that is your cue to breathe again. The fight is over, the salvage is secure, and you can enjoy the rewards. If you want to make sure you are well-prepped for the next round, it is worth checking out cheap ARC Raiders Items so you can roll in with the best gear possible.
